Brian Crawford is a Character Effects Artist with the goal of creating believable, appealing characters and motion. "Share the stories worth retelling."

Background

Brian graduated in January 2016 from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Entertainment Art/Animation and a minor in Computer Science. During his time at school, he enjoyed being an Event Coordinator for the CSUF Pencil Mileage Club where he interacted with fellow students and faculty of animation and illustration.

He also completed an internship at Zoic Studios, working on motion capture, rigging, and asset preparation. Later, with a team at Artella, Brian did hair grooming and simulation for Thistle One, directed by Bobby Beck.

Since January of 2018, after completing a Trainee program, Brian has enjoyed working as a Character Effects Artist at DreamWorks Animation. Past projects include How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Abominable, and Trolls: World Tour.
